The Knitty Gritty was born out of a desperate need to get my crafting life organized. I believe all art is refined chaos. We take paint, clay, yarn, whatever your medium of choice is, and we turn it into something beautiful, all while trusting the process when it gets, well, messy. So the last thing we need are for our tools to be chaos as well. 

When I couldn't find the perfect bag that would fit all of my tools (and was pretty, duh) I decided to just make it myself. 

After months of prototyping, the Knitty Knitter was born, and eventually her companions, the Knitty Crocheter and the Knitty Tote.

Each fabric pattern and color is carefully chosen to provide a range of pattern complexity and color spectrum. And every bag is cut and sewn in my spare bedroom turned workshop in Utrecht. 

So for the chaotic crafters with a yarn stash we don't talk about, for the commitment-phobic project jugglers, and for those who just plain like pretty things, I created The Knitty Gritty for you.
